12 routes with 293 steps, 258 turns, 107 roundabouts & 31 lights to practise!
Most of the routes involve several key roundabouts, including those on Chester Road, Collector Road, and Birmingham Road. They are designed to test your judgment, mirror use, and lane discipline each time.
You’ll repeatedly encounter traffic-light-controlled crossings and staggered junctions on Meadway and Cooks Lane. Stay focused on the signal phases, and maintain your routine of mirror checks and signalling clearly throughout.
Tight residential areas like Forth Drive, St Giles Road, and Mickleton Avenue will feature parked cars and narrow bends, demanding extra care. Look well ahead, give way when needed, and be prepared to pull in for oncoming traffic.
Most of the routes finish by looping back via Lea Village and Garretts Green Lane into Granby Avenue. Don’t switch off mentally now... there are final roundabouts, lane merges, and a precise turn back into the test centre requiring your full attention.
