Soon after leaving the test centre, you’ll tackle several multi-lane roundabouts around Stratford Road and Marshall Lake Road. These can be busy with fast-moving traffic at any time of the day, so make sure you’re in the correct lane early and always check your mirrors before changing direction.

Residential Navigation

You'll drive through quieter residential areas like Clinton Road, Avon Road, and Cranmore Boulevard. These are perfect for showcasing your smooth clutch control, proper road positioning, and observation of hidden junctions and parked cars.

Changing Speed Zones

Warwick Road and Church Hill Road introduce varying speed limits and more complex traffic signals. Keep aware of the limit changes, and remember to look well ahead to anticipate any light changes and pedestrian activity.

Looping Back

The return legs tend to take you back via familiar roads like Widney Lane or Monkspath Hall Road. Don’t switch off just because you’ve driven the road before. Lane priorities and visibility can often feel very different on the way back!
