2 routes with 52 steps, 50 turns, 4 roundabouts & 0 lights to practise!
The A82 features heavily, with multiple entry and exit points, including slip roads and roundabouts. Be prepared for faster-moving traffic and clear lane discipline when joining, exiting, or navigating turns off the main road.
Both routes include unique challenges like driving through a hotel car park and navigating around the visitor centre. Expect tight turns, changing priorities, and pedestrians—this is a good opportunity to show control and awareness.
Expect residential detours with lots of turns, including sequences like left-left-right in East or West Laroch. Watch for oncoming vehicles on narrow roads and be ready for junctions with limited visibility, especially after crossing bridges.
The route includes several bridge crossings with sharp EOR (end of road) turns immediately after. These locations demand full observation, especially when the view is restricted. Make sure you’re checking both directions and emerging safely.
