Bullamoor Road & Friarage Street DTC Roundabout Chain
Bullamoor Road and Friarage Street are used on every route. Two roundabouts sit in quick succession along this DTC approach corridor - required exits vary, with some routes going straight ahead through both and others turning off after the first. The chain is used both to leave and return to the test centre, so you will encounter it at least twice in every test.

High Street Roundabout Network
High Street is used on 17 routes and contains its own roundabout system connecting to South Parade, Thirsk Road, and Romanby Road. Required exits vary considerably between tests - some routes turn right at High Street, others go left or ahead. Approach each roundabout with your exit confirmed rather than deciding at the last moment.

Thirsk Road, Racecourse Lane & South Parade
Thirsk Road, Racecourse Lane, and South Parade form a southern loop used on 14 and 10 routes respectively. Roundabouts at Racecourse Lane and Boroughbridge Road connect this area to the main High Street network. Residential junctions along Broomfield Avenue and Normanby Road require careful observation - speeds are lower here but junction density is high.

Ainderby Road & Romanby Road Residential Area
Ainderby Road and Romanby Road are used across 10 and 13 routes respectively, forming a residential network west of the town centre. Multiple roundabouts connect these roads back to High Street - Ainderby Road in particular features a series of roundabouts in close succession. Confirm required exits early, as wrong exits here can make the return to the DTC complex.

Stokesley Road, Brompton Road & Quaker Lane Northern Loop
Stokesley Road, Brompton Road, and Quaker Lane form a northern loop used on seven routes. A chain of roundabouts connects these roads - after Friarage Street, Brompton Road leads to Quaker Lane and then Stokesley Road. Some routes use Water End and Lead Lane as a residential extension - these narrow roads require reduced speed and early observation.
