St Georges Way and St Georges Approach are used on six routes each. A roundabout at this junction is encountered in multiple directions - some routes exit right, others left or ahead. This cluster is also close to the DTC, meaning candidates arrive here early in the test when nerves can be highest, so approach it calmly and signal clearly.

Medina Way dual carriageway is used on six routes and represents a faster-paced section of each test. Entry is via slip road junctions and exits vary - some left, some right. Maintain a consistent speed on the carriageway, check mirrors and blind spots before changing lanes, and identify your exit slip road well in advance.

Carisbrooke Mini Roundabout Network - Cedar Hill, Whitepit Lane & Carisbrooke High Street
The Carisbrooke area features a cluster of mini roundabouts at Cedar Hill, Whitepit Lane, and Carisbrooke High Street used on five routes. These are tight mini roundabouts in close succession - give way to the right at each one, do not assume priority, and approach each at a speed that allows you to stop safely if needed.
