After leaving the test centre, you’ll work through a series of residential roads like Wilton Avenue and Church Green Road. They are perfect for showcasing smooth control, mirror checks, and proper junction routines.

Mini Roundabout Clusters

Many of the routes include closely spaced mini roundabouts - especially along Manor Road and Buckingham Road. Assess your priorities quickly and keep your steering and speed under control as you navigate each one individually.

Fast Roads and Roundabout Combinations

You'll merge onto bigger roads like V4 Watling Street and H10 Bletcham Way, often via roundabouts. They'll test your lane positioning and ability to maintain a safe following distance. Plan your exit early and don’t be afraid to go around again if not safe to proceed.

Mixed Road Types

Nearing the end of every route, you’ll re-enter town, passing through more mini roundabouts and traffic light-controlled junctions. Places like Victoria Road and George Street will require you to adjust quickly between different speeds and road types.
