You’ll likely switch between quieter local roads and faster roads like the A2016 (Eastern Way) or Bronze Age Way. Adjust your speed appropriately, join any dual carriageways smoothly, and anticipate lane changes early for slip roads and exits.
Departing and returning to the test centre involves offset junctions and tight turns, particularly on Woolwich Road and Albert Road. Practise good clutch control throughout, look carefully in both directions, and be prepared for reduced visibility when joining main roads.
