6 routes with 144 steps, 136 turns, 20 roundabouts & 7 lights to practise!
The early section of Route 1 weaves through several “End of Road” (EOR) junctions, especially around St Vigeans Road and Baldovan Street. Expect a rhythm of stops and turns — perfect for practising clutch control, quick observation, and correct positioning before emerging.
Routes 2 and 3 both include rural driving out towards Arbirlot. These stretches test your ability to handle higher-speed roads, tight bends, and potential surprises like cyclists or farm vehicles. Always adjust your speed on approach to bends and keep scanning well ahead.
Burnside Drive appears across multiple routes with a series of back-to-back roundabouts. This area tests your roundabout discipline: mirror-signal-manoeuvre routines, lane awareness, and safe gap judgement. Take your time and watch out for lane markings and signs.
Later sections of Routes 2 and 3 pass through narrow residential streets like Hill Place, Leonard Street, and Ernest Street. These tight spaces are ideal for practising steering control, side-road awareness, and dealing with parked cars or meeting traffic situations.
