3 routes with 77 steps, 75 turns, 8 roundabouts & 0 lights to practise!
Most routes begin by exiting Fyrish Way and joining the A9 — a faster-moving road that requires a confident merge. Clear signalling and checking over your shoulder is vital here before making the left turn.
Many test routes include a scenic but tricky loop through Shore Road, Clyde Street, and Normans Lane in Invergordon. This area features several EORs and crossroads, so good observation and careful positioning are key.
In Routes 1 and 3, learners are taken through tight residential streets like Cromlet Drive and Davidson Drive. Expect a series of left–right combinations and multiple EORs, testing your control at slow speeds.
Most routes wrap up by returning through the Novar Road and Fyrish Way roundabout system. This section may feel familiar by the end, but remember to maintain good mirror checks and lane discipline all the way back to the centre.
